The Front antifasciste populaire (Front Pop!!!) is a is a coalition of individuals and collectives committed to countering the rise of the far right within Quebec society. Front Pop!!! was formed in 2025 at the initiative of community groups seeking to expand the anti-fascist struggle beyond traditional activist circles through public education and mobilization. The goal of Front Pop!!! is to reestablish anti-fascism as a shared value throughout civil society.
To identify as antifascist should be an automatic reflex

Multiple mainstream political parties are hitting with all their might on migrants. They are using them as a scapegoat of all of society’s ills. These same ills that they created themselves throughout the years, and in many cases, to enrich the landowning class.
- We are poorer and poorer while cost of living keep increasing;
- Apartments are costly and hard to find;
- Public services are collapsing;
- The climate crisis is reaching a breaking point.
At the same time, our leaders never hesitate to increase the budget of the police and the military.
And when it comes to vote laws restraining our rights to protest, to strike, or even to wear certain clothes at work, no problem. Reactionary forces, in multiple dress and forms, keep pushing back against the rights of women and feed hateful discourses against LGBTQ2+ communities, among others.
We cannot see all these attacks and do nothing!
It is high time we unite and take action against the far right and these new forms of fascism. To counter this looming threat, we firmly believe that antifascism must (once again) become popular and accessible, both in its language and in its actions.
This is the challenge we have set for ourselves. In the coming year, we aim to organize community education activities, rallies, and demonstrations; produce informational and educational materials; but above all: ensure that the far right is not allowed to organize unopposed.
