Solidarity with all Antifascist Prisoners across the World

Le Front Antifasciste Populaire stands in solidarity with all antifascist prisoners across the world, for the International Day of Solidarity with Antifascist Prisoners. Our struggle is crucial in the defense against the far right in all its shapes and forms.

The initiative was launched in 2014 by the International Antifascist Defense Fund to support Jock Palfreeman, condemned to 20 years in jail in Bulgaria for defending two Roms against a far-right hooligan club.

If Palfreeman was freed after 11 years, there are hundred of others who, like him, stood firm against hate, and are still imprisoned everywhere across the planet.

Le Front Antifasciste Populaire would like to take a moment to honor the sacrifice of these exceptional individuals who, at the risk of their own lives and freedom, strove to preserve ours.

Solidarity with Rexhino Gino Abazaj, imprisoned in France and awaiting extradition to Hungary for allegedly disrupting a neo-Nazi rally in Budapest in February 2023.

Solidarity with Alex Stokes Contompasis, condemned in Fevruary 2022 to 20 years in jail after defending two young antifascists attacked by proud-boys near a pro-trump event.

Solidarity with Alexsander “Sasha” Frantskevish, arrested in August 2022 during a peaceful protest against the the Belarusian regime. He was sentenced to 17 years in prison following a trial that drew heavy criticism from several international organizations.

Solidarity with the Prairieland Defendants: Savanna Batten, Daniel « Des » Rolando Sanchez Estrada, Zachary Evetts, Lucy fowlkes, Joey « Rowan » Gibson, Automn Hill, Rebecca Morgan, Meagan Morris, Maricela « Mari » Rueda, Benjamin « Champagne » Song, Elizabeth and Ines Soto. They were condemned last month to between 15 and 100 years in jail to have participated in a noise demo in front of an ICE concentration camp in Texas.
